What the fuck do you want me to record? A horn line? Yeah, I have the stuff to do it, but it would be crazy easy for me. Hell, in real life with the cover band I play in I might as well be playing with a track.

On a simaliar line to this the great drummer Louie Bellson (if you don't know who he is go look him up. He is one of the top 5 of all time) used to rehearse a 20 piece big band without the rhythm section.

I played with his band for about a month years ago and that is some of the hardest shit I have ever done. It is almost impossible, but it did make the band insanely tight and allowed all the rhythm people to do their own thing without the band relying on them.

I'll see what kind of guitar lines I can make tonight. Incidentally this may be a perfect time to work on two hand tapping some cool riffs.

In my head I have a few ideas of some things I want to try.

I think I'm going to set up quick demo with three parts to it. It may be done tonight, I most likely won't use a click track though.

I didn't get around to anything last night. I was busy with Stokie's site and some Shirt Genius drama that was self-induced.

Alcohol is a good thing. I don't care what anyone says.

I'll have some stuff up tonight. I think I'm going to put them all together in one big song to give you an idea. I personally don't care what style we go for, but if I'm putting up the first bit, it's going to be rock. Heavier rock.

I'll probably only do one take too to give general ideas and clean shit up.

I have two songs recorded, this one I'm going to post because quality-wise it's better and much easier to play in regards to technicality. There are some spots where I fuck up on blending tracks so it comes together randomly, but this is a demo anyway, so let me know.

BTW I totally ripped off the opening pattern from FTM's Dance of the Manatee. Not enough to sue though.
